‘Rwanda – The Road to Recovery’ Art Exhibition

rYico presented a collaborative exhibition comprised of photography, painting and prints from 6 collections of work that explore Rwanda’s past and its journey to the present day. July 4th marks the end of the 1994 Genocide in Rwanda. For Rwandans this date represents the return of Imana, their God of life and protector whom many believe was temporarily absent during the horrific three month long genocide of 1994. As a nation, this date marks the beginning of the road to recovery.
